After a man dies in a Guam from a mysterious syndrome caused by an unidentified insect-bite on a nearby tiny island, an expedition team heads for the jungle to investigate. It comprises medical and zoological scientists as well as security, headed by Valentine, plus their female pilot. they soon discover it's not an insect but a huge, spider-like mutated monster which kills people, both locals and them, by bite or poison.
